Welcome to the OSPCM Web site

The Ontario Society of Physicians for Complementary Medicine was formed to support individual physicians in their practice of complementary medicine. It will work toward a rapprochement of all methods of allopathic and complementary medicine so that the best of both can be used together for the benefit of the patient. The OSPCM will work to establish a regulatory standard that honours the principle of true peer review. It will encourage greater knowledge and understanding of complementary medicine, assist in the development of standards of practice for each of its component disciplines, and encourage and support research into the safety and effectiveness of the various treatment approaches that comprise complementary medicine.
